My Ani

I took this at the Peter Pan play at the Tivoli Theatre in Chattanooga. Every once in a while I get a picture that captures the kids. This is one of them. This is my Ani. It captures her eyes, her heart, her sweetness, and her beauty. What you don't see is my worry, all the worries that Mom's get to have as they watch they little baby girls grow into big girls and then women. . . . Stay sweet princess.

Time to begin!

This is what the kitchen looks like right now - it isn't going to look like this for long! We are heading out to find new cabinets today. Keep watching for remodel updates!!! We are going to move in soon, but not until it is done!

My beauty

I know I am a little prejudice, but I think this little girl is beautiful. If anyone can smile with their eyes, she can and does. The best part, she makes my heart smile!

Till the sun goes down. . .

The kids soaked up every drop of sun. I made them stop to get a good picture which isn't easy with these two. You can kind of see the lake in the back ground.

The house

Here is the house. We have a contract on this one. The outside isn't the prettiest one, but it is really nice on the inside and we are remodeling the kitchen and master bath. it is on 1.3 acres so the kids have a place to run and play. It also has a lake lot across the street which is where we are going to park the new boat. We haven't boat it yet, but it is next on the short list. . . .

Winter is here

The ice was beautiful in the trees. Fortunately we were only without power until noon and we had the generator (we bought it during the aftermath of Katrina).

The view

Nope, not the show, but, from out property. It is still hard to see, but through the trees it the lake. It is a pretty spot. Maybe someday there will be a house on it!?!?

Merry Chistmas!

What a blessing. What could make a mother happier that two beautiful children who are just as happy with a couple of new books, as they are with pajamas, as the bigger toys... Then when they are done opening, they are happy to play together. What a great Christmas! I hope yours was as merry as ours.
