First Day - Round 2

Now in Tennessee, Ani had to start school at her new school. She wasn't as smiley as she was in Auburn. She was a little nervous and scared, but the fit that was thrown was pretty bad! She wasn't going, she wasn't going to learn anything, we couldn't make her. I finally carried her down the hall to her class and left her there screaming for me. Her teacher said when she finally got her in the classroom, she turned her chair around backwards, crossed her arms and said - I am not doing any work! Her teacher siad she was a little worried at first, but she finally turned around after an hour. An HOUR! This girl is SOOOO stubborn. Where did she get this from?? I blame Virgel!

The Booboo

The tears and drama. She cut her leg on a piece of glass in a trash bag that I left out. I felt totally horrible! The amount of yelling she did at the doctors was pretty amazing. She was going home - she didn't like it and wanted them to stop it! I just don't know where she got it from!?

Ruston's help

Ruston helping the movers! O.k. it wasn't much help, but he was having fun. What else was he suppose to do with Ani at school all day!

First Day of School

Ani's First day of First Grade!
We decided to have Ani start school at Calvert in Auburn. She only went for four days, but she was happy to see her friends and it kept her busy while the movers packed up the house, including her room. It wouldn't have been pretty to have her watch them pack her stuff! She picked out her backpack and matching lunchbox. She didn't want a boring one like last year - it was just pink!

Sweetness

So sweet. The kids were really sweet one night at a hotel while we were on our house hunting trip. They really are cute!

Good bye

Nebraska winds - and swing set! We had a storm blow through, it wasn't a really bad one, but it had strong winds. It took what once was our swing set and turned it into the pile of lumber! The kids were pretty certain Dad was going to fix it. No such luck. I guess the timing was good as we were trying to decide if we should try to move it or not - Answer: Not! It also was round two for the trampoline - that was the end for it as well. So with that, good bye Nebraska and your wind. I will not miss the constant wind!

Sleepy boy

This is what I call a sleepy little boy. This is before we moved. He was laying beside me and zonked out. Poor little guy. So tired from all our travels.
