The kids liked the few big fireworks that we had this year and Mamaw enjoyed having them on her lap watching them. She is enjoying the time she is able to spend with them now that she lives so close. They are enjoying it too.

Sparkler
What a smile. He thought this was a lot of fun. The only problem is he wanted to bring the sparkler much too close. I couldn't let go.....
Where did he go?
Has anyone seen my baby? I woke up today and he was gone, this adorable little boy was in his place. This can't possibly be my son. He is much too big, much too old. Why do all of these moments go by in a flash?
Yuck. nake
The kids like the silly snake things you can always get on the 4th. But Ruston would keep saying Yuck, nake, yuck, nake.
Ruston made it too
Ruston wanted to go with sister so bad, so finally we let him go. The first time she waiting and helped him through. The barriers inside were MUCH bigger than him, but he did it. He couldn't make it up the slide at the end, fortunately I could get him out.
Ani is Dancing!?
Ani was watching a movie and at the end she decided to dance to the music. This is her version of the "guitar" move. What a funny little girl. Where does she get this stuff??? Ruston tried to dance with her which was pretty funny to. He can't pull the guitar move, but he can wiggle his bottom with the best of them.

Playground?
Nope, just our back yard - of course, no grass yet. I know what is the problem. Well, too much rain, putting trenches in the yard, yard guy can't level the yard to put in the sprinklers and plant the grass. It is a never ending cycle that looks like we will get to plant in September!! Argh! Oh, well, at least it isn't mud, most of the time. . . ;)
16 hours
Yep, 16 hours and a sunburn; that is what it took to put this thing together. Virgel has threatened that they better play on it or he is going to make them sleep in it!
swingset
The swings are a big hit! Ruston loves to go higher and higher. He SCREAMS Momma when he wants to be pushed again. He is a total MESS!
Trampoline
Mamaw decided that Ani and Ruston needed a trampoline so that was part of his Birthday present! Oh, they are loving it!
Bike!
I found the smallest bike I have ever seen for Ruston's birthday. He has been getting on Ani's which is much too big for him (this week). So, when I found this one I couldn't resist. He was so excited when I showed him. He instantly left the cake behind and yelled BIKE!
