Guess who is already a year old??? Yep, Ruston. I can't believe how fast this year has gone by and once again how much in our lives has changed. I wouldn't change any of it and we are so blessed to have so much in our lives. It has been a wonderful day as you can see in the posts below. I am thrilled I was able to spend it with the two most important things in my life, my beautiful, wonderful, amazing, loving children. Who could ask for anything more?

Happy BIRTHDAY RUSTON !
We had a little celebration for Ruston's birthday with a little star cake. We will have a party for him once we are settled in our new house.
Ooohhhh. This is fun
So why is this stuff sticking to my hand? He tried to swing his had to get the frosting off and started throwing it everywhere.
field trip day!
The whole gang! We spent the morning at the Lincoln Children's Museum. There were 12 kids and four adults, including myself - what was I thinking??? I loved it and so did the kids. Ani is the easy one to pick out in the photo since she is the only one NOT wearing a blue shirt. Dad forgot to relay that message! Oh well.
fireman Ani
Ani got into the fireman action just like Ruston. She had a blast playing on this firetruck. The jacket fit, almost!!!
What is cuter?
This has to be one of my favorite pictures of my little man! I had an absolute wonderful day watching his face light up at every new discovery.
Fireman Ruston
Ruston had an absolute blast playing at the museum. He loved this fire truck. He sat in it and played for the longest time. It was a lot of fun watching him explore everything that was there. He wants to touch everything to figure out what it is like.
peak a boo
The kids love playing peek a boo in the kitchen cupboards. They were each on one side and would open the door in front of them one at a time. Ani would move to another cupboard and Ruston would start opening all the doors until he found her. Then he would climb on it. It was too cute. I was glad they were having fun while Virgel and I were finishing up a little work on the house that night!
Gymnastics
Ani has started taking gymnastics and she loves it. She doesn't like the exercises so much. She is doing really well and is proud of herself when she can do what the coach asks her to do. Her coach has started calling her 'Giggles' because she giggles the entire class, a clear sign she is enjoying it!
uneven bar
Ani was so proud of how strong she was. She did really well, I was a little surprised at how she was able to jump up and hold herself there!
