So, what did we do with those pumpkins, carve them of course. Ani is going to be Ariel and Ruston is going to be a pirate, so that is what are pumpkins are. If you have ever seen those pumpkin carving kits - here is proof they work. O.k . we had ariel's eye wrong, but other than that, these are pretty darn good. I carved Jack Sparrows! The kids love them, I just hope they last another week!

Helpers
Daddy's little helpers were making sure he could get the pumpkins all the way to the front gate!
In the field
Pumpkin pickin. We were glad that Jim and Alicia could come up and visit us. We really had a nice visit with them and the kids really enjoyed seeing them again.

This is it. The perfect, Ani size pumpkin! She couldn't have been happier - or more tired!

The search for Ani's pumpkin wasn't an easy one! She is that little pink speck out there. They were searching the whole field for the right one. We found it, finally!

Ani wasn't the only one to get sleepy at the pumpkin patch. Ruston didn't have a nap all day. They were ready to go for our hay ride and get the Perfect Pumpkin!

Pumpkin Patch day
So, we decided to go to the pumpkin patch to get out pumpkins. Now, you are thinking the field of pumpkins, right - wrong! I had been to the pumpkin patch before, but Virgel, Alicia, and Jim had not. So, they were a little surprised to find out how big it was - 152 acres!
