Good Friends!

This is from our trip to the Keys in January. I forgot my camera (I know, almost unimaginable!), and Virgina took all the pictures, but I didn't get them until now! We had a lot of fun, but it was freakin cold! It wasn't cold this time. . .

My baby can ski!!!!

What an awesome day! We promised to try to teach Ani to ski. I wasn't sure we would be able to get on the ski and after several tries we took a break. We gave it ONE more try and there she went! She was so excited, and so was I. I was so proud of her and she was so proud of her self.

Family

I managed to get everyone to take a picture before anyone left. Steve was sleeping and no one was willing to wake him up, so he isn't in the picture, sorry Steve!!! Great picture, but too many family members are still missing, so we are going to have to try again at the reunion!

It has been a long three days. It is three days that was written in destiny five and a half years ago when the stongest woman I knew was diagnosed with lung cancer. She did all she could to fight cancer and remained with her family longer than the doctors told her she should have. Her battles changed, she stayed strong. During her journey, I reconnected with her and was able to see her again. She met my husband and children and with that created memories I will cherish forever.
I think she had her own bucket list and she wasn't about to say good bye until it was done and done her way. Bringing most of her family together, one more time, filling her home, the home that she built with love; she passed away at dawn with her husbands hand in hers.
With Grace, Strength, Love, and Amazing beauty she has gone to a better place. I will miss you. I thank you for all you have taught me and all you have given me.
